First, the characteristics of fine forging
1. Greatly reduce the cost of product parts. The machining allowance of forgings is small, the public service is small, and the surface roughness value is small. Machining can partially or completely replace parts, save data and machining time, and improve labor productivity;
2. Improve the mechanical properties and service life of the product. The metal streamline of the forging is not cut off, and the streamline distribution is more reasonable. The strength of the casting is about 20% of the cutting process, with strong resistance to stress, corrosion and long service life;
3. It is suitable for parts with complex shape, high performance and expensive data, such as gears, gear parts, blades, aviation parts, electrical parts, etc., with high cost and high price, and the saving effect of precision forging is obvious;
4. In any case, it is not economical to have a suitable batch precision forging. The cost and economic benefits should be summarized according to the mass production and performance requirements of forging products. The larger the batch, the better the benefit.
Second,the haracteristics of forging planning
Like ordinary die forging, the fine die forging plan is formulated according to the product part drawing. It is the main basis for formulating the precision forging process, planning the precision forging die, and making and inspecting the forgings.
1. Confirm the shape, size, location and various skill requirements of precision forgings;
2. Selection of parting surface: Generally, it is not allowed to choose in the precision forging part. For example, the parting surface of the straight bevel gear is generally selected on the large diameter and the back cone surface, and the parting surface of the spur gear is selected on the large end surface;
3. Machining allowance and public service: After the fine casting part is cast, no machining will be carried out, so no machining allowance is set, which is exactly the same size as the part drawing. The allowance and public service of other machined surfaces can be confirmed according to the standard GB12362-90 fine level;
4. Die inclination and fillet radius: During fine die forging, there is generally an ejector device on the die, so the die inclination is very small. The fillet radius depends on the part drawing.
