The processing methods of wrought aluminum and aluminum alloys are different according to the specific use requirements. The main processing methods include hot working, cold working, solution heat treatment, aging treatment, annealing treatment and other methods. According to different processing methods, the status of aluminum processed products can be summarized as follows:
State | Introduction |
H Process hardened state | Suitable for products that increase strength through process hardening, the product can be (or not) after process hardening to reduce the strength of additional heat treatment |
O Annealing statu | Suitable for processed products that are fully annealed to the lowest strength |
T Heat treatment status Different from F, O, H states | Suitable for products that are stable after heat treatment and have been (or not) hardened by processing. The T code must be followed by one or more Arabic numerals (usually heat-treated reinforced materials) |
W Solid solution heat treatment state | An unstable state that applies only to alloys that are naturally aging at room temperature after solid solution heat treatment, and the state code only indicates that the product is in the natural aging stage. |
F Free processing status | Applicable to products that have no special requirements for process hardening and heat treatment conditions during the molding process, the mechanical properties of the products in this state are not specified. |
