High-strength duralumin 2A12 aluminum forgings

2A12 aluminum alloy is a kind of high-strength hard aluminum, which can be strengthened by heat treatment. It has medium plasticity under annealing, just quenching and hot state. 2A12 aluminum alloy has good spot welding weldability. Tendency; 2A12 aluminum alloy has good machinability after quenching and cold work hardening, but poor in annealed state. The corrosion resistance is not high, and anodizing treatment and painting methods are often used or the surface is coated with aluminum layer to improve the corrosion resistance.

Application:

Uses It is mainly used to make various high-load parts and components (but not including stamping forgings) such as skeleton parts, skins, bulkheads, wing ribs, wing spars, rivets and other working parts below 150 °C on aircraft.
