1. The high temperature deformation resistance of various aluminum alloys in aluminum alloy forging varies greatly. The deformation resistance of aluminum alloy (also known as flow stress) varies significantly with the composition. Some low-strength aluminum alloy and medium-strength aluminum alloy, such as 6000 series aluminum alloy, have low high-temperature deformation resistance, while high-strength aluminum alloy, especially ai-zn-mg-cu aluminum alloy, such as 7000 series aluminum alloy, has high high-temperature deformation resistance, such as forged aluminum 2a50 aluminum alloy, 500 ℃ strength limit 20mpa, and hard aluminum 2a12 aluminum alloy, 500 ℃ strength limit 40mpa, the difference is - times, That is, the required forging deformation load differs by about 2 times.

2. Most commonly used deformed aluminum alloys have lower deformation resistance at room temperature than carbon steel, but there are three kinds of deformation resistance at high temperature: lower than carbon steel, equivalent to carbon steel, and higher than carbon steel.

3. The deformation resistance of aluminum alloy is very sensitive to temperature (changes rapidly with the increase or decrease of temperature): with the decrease of temperature, its high temperature deformation resistance increases rapidly, faster than carbon steel. It can be seen from the comparison that the limit growth rate of high temperature strength is faster than that of carbon steel dry alloy structural steel. The temperature of carbon steel and low alloy structural steel decreases by 100 ℃, and the strength limit increases by about 50%. The temperature of aluminum alloy decreases by 50 ℃, and the strength limit increases by 50% - 300%. Therefore, aluminum alloy, especially aluminum alloy with high alloying degree, cannot be final forged under low temperature conditions, so the aluminum alloy forging temperature range is narrow, and the operation should be rapid. The deformation resistance of aluminum alloy during die forging production determines its material strength limit, processing conditions and the complexity of forgings.
